About this shirt

Description

This is a match issued home shirt from Ajax, from the 04-05 season. On the back of the shirt the name and squad number of the former top defender, Thomas Vermaelen. An official certificate of authenticity is missing, as is often the case with this type of shirt. But from all the details such as the fabric, printing, air holes and the Champions League badge you can tell that this is a match issued, also known as bench worn (match-prepared) shirt. The Belgian never made it onto the pitch during the Champions League campaign that year. What is the difference between Vintage and Retro?
Vintage shirts are original shirts from the era they were actually worn in. Retro shirts are recently produced replicas of old designs. At Kick & Rush we sell only original (vintage) shirts.

What Our Customers Say
